Western Illinois Builders Association M. Brad Johnson Memorial Scholarship

 

Galesburg— The Carl Sandburg College Foundation has awarded the Brad Johnson Memorial Scholarship, donated annually through the Western Illinois Builders Association, to Sumer Rose of Knoxville, Illinois.

This scholarship is awarded to students who are residents of Fulton, Henderson, Knox, or Warren County, are enrolled in an Associate in Applied Science program and have maintained a 2.5 GPA.

Carl Sandburg College Students Awarded

M. Brad Johnson Memorial Scholarship

Western Illinois Builders Association

Galesburg— The Carl Sandburg College Foundation has awarded the Brad Johnson Memorial Scholarship, donated annually through the Western Illinois Builders Association, to students Janayle Franey of Oneida, Madyson Glisan of Abingdon, Quentin Hagen of Galesburg, John Lambert of Oneida, Hayley Mills of Altona, and Nicholas Putnam of Abingdon.

 

All six students were awarded a $500 scholarship for the 2012-2013 academic year. This scholarship is awarded to students who are residents of Fulton, Henderson, Knox, or Warren County, are enrolled in an Associate in Applied Science program and have maintained a 2.5 GPA.

2011
The 2011 M. Brad Johnson Memorial Scholarship Recipients are Nikki Raney, Nicholas Putnam, Samuel Felix, Alivia Colwell, Hillary Hess, and Michelle Willett.  Each recipient will receive a $500 Scholarship.

Scholarship recipients must be a resident of Fulton, Henderson, Knox or Warren County; have a minimum 2.5 GPA; and be enrolled in any degree or certificate program at Carl Sandburg College. Preference is given to students who are employees or immediate family members of current members of the Western Illinois Builders Association.

The M. Brad Johnson Memorial Scholarship was formed in 1994. The total Scholarship Amount awarded by the Western Illinois Builder's Association from 2004-2012 is $14,500
